Dr. Gooding joined the Down Maine team in June of 2024 after graduating with her DVM degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She originally hails from Moorhead, Minnesota, and spent many years volunteering at the local zoo from elementary to high school. Dr. Gooding was inspired to become a veterinarian after seeing the kindness and care shown to one of her cats when they were ill. Her professional fields of interest include dentistry, cardiology, and ophthalmology. Dr. Gooding enjoys baking, reading, writing, and drawing in her spare time. She currently has three furry family members: Bon Bon, the Scottish terrier; Whoopie Pie, the Corgi; and Truffles, the Scottish fold.
