Vet Tech Sandy Whitten retires after 26 years of service to the DMVC

The doctors and staff of the DMVC would like to congratulate and wish Sandy Whitten the best as she begins her retirement this week. We also wish to thank her for her 26 years of dedicated service to our practice.

Sandy began working for the DMVC as a licensed technician back in 1989 and since then she has worked for us in virtually every capacity possible. This includes the laboratory, in surgery and with animal nursing care. She has also steadfastly maintained our laboratory and surgery equipment with dedication and competence and has been involved with the training of all of our current technical staff. We especially appreciate the many nights she stayed late after work to assist with C-sections, bloat surgeries  enterotomies as well as countless other surgeries.

Sandy plans on spending time with her husband Brian and, with any luck, many hours riding her Irish Sport Horse, Ariel, through the backwoods of Shapleigh.

ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT SANDY! YOU DESERVE IT! WE WILL MISS YOU!
